Yesterday, we were awarded the Runners Up for Good Sports ACT Club of the Year for 2022. We were recognised for ‘Outstanding dedication to inspiring positive change and building a healthier, more family-friendly club environment’.
There was a ceremony at Parliament House yesterday morning which I was lucky enough to attend with my wife. I also had the opportunity to spend 5 minutes with Minister Andrew Leigh and Minister Alicia Payne to tell them about some of the great work that we do in the basketball community. Minister Andrew seemed well informed of basketball issues in Canberra.
